Mobile Motorhome Habitation Servicing (Hab Check)

We offer a complete range of servicing options, from full annual servicing, appliance safety tests, and damp inspections. When it comes to your motorhome, it is important to maintain a safe environment for you and your family. Our mobile motorhome servicing includes all aspects of habitational servicing, upkeep and repairs. We offer a complete range of services to suit all of your motorhome needs which include National Caravan Council approved electrical Periodic Inspection Reports, full damp inspections and Alde glycol/antifreeze changes.

We provide full safety checks of your appliances to help prevent any problems whilst you are away. During the winter months, damp can cause many issues to your motorhome which can be easily prevented with yearly checks. Always make sure you use a qualified motorhome technician to ensure you receive expert service at all times.

Full Damp Inspection

A full damp inspection is ideal to not only detect damp but also to help prevent it in the future. This inspection includes a full written report is provided upon completion, giving you peace of mind.

Full Gas Safety Test

Ensure your gas is 100% safe by having a complete system inspection. We will check for system leaks, function of appliances and flues and inspect ventilation and safety of room sealed appliances.

230v Electrical P.I.R

This is a Periodic Inspection Report of your 230v mains circuit; it involves a test & inspection of installations, RCD, MCB’s, sockets, earth & earth bonding, polarity, continuity & insulation, recommended every 3 years by NCC.

Appliance Servicing

This service fully checks the function and safety of your appliance; this includes the condition of elements and burners, power supply and connections, leaks and flu security, a carbon monoxide test is included.

Alde Glycol Change

Recommended for keeping your Alde heater performing to optimum level, this ensures your system is kept safe by keeping glycol levels to correct levels and flushes out any air locks, glycol is included.

Floor Delamination

Does your floor have bouncy patches? This is a common problem caused by general wear and tear of caravan and motorhome floors as the insulation breaks down. All of our delamination quotes include materials.

  Easy to get to and do a brilliant job. Hit a fence post made a small hole and scratches but big enough that it needed repair. Jack sorted it out in 2 days and after washing and waxing it no one can tell where it was repaired. Even my wife couldn't remember where it was damaged and couldn't find the repair! Very reasonable price for the job as well given I had 2 quotes from elsewhere that were considerably more! Will use again for sure!

  We've just had a great caravan purchase experience with Jak at Fox County with our 2020 Swift Challenger. Great guy to deal with, informative, excellent communication and well worth travelling from Stoke to Leicester to do a deal.   Jak has just done a too notch repair on the body work of my caravan. We had come off second best with a fence post! You would now not he able to tell that it had been cracked as the repair is invisible. I would highly recommend Fox County for any caravan body work repairs
